Life is about choices
A green car we can actually USE
0I am VERY interested in technology for future cars that can both help in reduce CO2 emissions, and also be more economical for total cost of ownership.
BWM recently released details of a new concept car . Not only does it beat all current hybrids in terms of emissions, but it can be 100% electric for around 60km – more than enough for most peoples daily commute all while still giving stats like 0-100km in under 5 sec, and a top speed of around 240km/hr! Until now everything in this space seams to be about compromise (you get this OR that). This shows engineers, and more importantly car makers, are thinking about AND. How to get a car that’s good for the environment AND performs AND looks sexy AND ….
I would almost say that the Tesla car concept did this already .. but I have to say, they have (IMHO) over promised and not delivered when it comes to the TIMELINE (the car itself rocks).
Anyway .. exciting times ahead.
The “R” word
2Here’s what I think about recessions (or economic downturn)
I want to start by saying what’s WRONG with prolonged periods of economic growth by using an example at the more detailed micro level, and then looking at the big picture macro view.
Let’s start with coffee – a great place to start the day, and an even better place to start this topic.
